  •  That's not what "space" means.  In common understanding, "space" is the location OUTSIDE OF EARTH (i.e. when you exit earth and enter the "galaxy").

Scripture does not permit mankind/spacecraft/rockets, etc to go beyond the firmament.  So there has been no exploration of space, no visits to the Moon, etc.

Quit re-defining terms in an attempt to co-mingle truth with lies.  Accept reality.  Accept you've been lied to.  Wake up.
So the moon is outside the firmament?  Are you sure?  Is the sun outside the firmament?  Is Jupiter outside the firmament? How thin is the firmament if the moon can be seen clearly through it?

  • The moon is inside the firmament but is a light (as scripture says) not a stone ball.  But that's another topic.  Sun is also inside the firmament.  I've posted multiple pictures on what it looks like.  You've seen them.

  • This is really beyond stupid. If your going to hold a definition as to what "space" is and require that what you define is a "satellite" as to only ever be in that place and then deny that all other similar things that actually exist but not in the place that you have defined as "space" so they are not what you call "satellites" ...........blah, blah, blah, rabble, rabble, bark bark.

    Semantics much?

I wish I could help but until actual rational discourse prevails there is no help for your education.

  • It’s not semantics.  It’s called distinguishing between LEO satellites (1-3 miles up) and “space orbiting” satellites (ie 200-300 miles and above the earth's atmosphere).

But if you want to treat 1-3 miles the same as 200-300 miles, go right ahead and be silly.

  • There are LEO (low earth orbit) satellites which are only a few miles up.  That's mostly what corps, govts, Elon are sending up there.  The idea of satellites in "space" is a fantasy.  Because of God's firmament.
Nothing can orbit unless the earth is a globe, so you admit it's a globe?

Again 1 to 3 miles for LEOs is not accurate.  It would hit mountains.  It wouldn't be able to move without an engine.  You would here it going by like planes. Address this instead of ignoring it.  If you don't, then there is no hope for having a real conversation. Show pictures of these things.

  “Low earth orbit” is the technical name of the type of satellite.  It’s an industry term.

  • I only know that objects that have no illumination of their own and are roughtly the size of office desks CANNOT BE SEEN from the alleged 280+ mile away they're claimed to be.  Now, allegedly the newer ones are like 20 feet by 10 feet or so, but that's still tiny, and those ones are allegedly at 340+ miles away.

I defy anyone to put a desk up on a pedestal (so it's not obscured by "curvature") about 10 miles away on an extremely clear day and see it with the naked eye.  Utter nonsense.  Ah, but they have "solar panels".  Yeah, right ... against miniscule in size for one thing at those distances and 2 ... uhm, mostly turned to FACE the sun, since that's what they're for ... and yet they're still visible to the naked eye.

Whatever "Star Link" actually is, it's most certainly not what they say it is.  I suspect that it's some kind of holographic nonsense to be perfectly honest, and they're not even satelloons.

Right.  Use some common sense, people.  These things are much closer than 10 miles.

  • Really?  The next time you are on an airplane at cruising altitude (which is between 30000 ft (5.68 miles) and 40000 ft (7.58 miles)) Take a look around for the LEOs.  You should see something.

Better yet look for Airplanes at night that are cruising above your house with the lights blinking.  If you see that blinking light then you can see at least 6 miles at night.  Last time I checked those lights are smaller than a desk.

Here is a tool to use.

  • There are definitely objects moving at much higher altitudes than planes (like Gray noted, 5~7 miles up)..Very clear sky, immense amount of stars here so I see them pretty regularly at night, and compared to the planes in the sky at the same time they look like they can easily be 10x higher up..and that's low balling it

Then, just for the sake of argument, how does StarLink actually work?  It undeniably does, even in remote locations.
