My family has two tracfones. I have the opposite problem. I always run out of service time but have too many minutes. I was looking for a way to buy service time without adding more minutes.
I have one, but that doesn't mean I've figured it out. : /But, I don't think there's any downside to adding the 90 days. I usually have Matto's problem in that I run out of days but still have plenty of minutes/texts/data. I now have it set up to automatically add days (and service time) when it runs out.
Glad I'm not the only one! However, I wonder whether I am making this more complicated than it needs to be. For me, I rarely use data and I am on schedule with the texts. My minutes are very low because of my calls to my mom. I speak to her easily 60-75 minutes per week. Adds up quickly. I know that this plan (plus the fact that I got a smartphone out of it) saves us a lot of money compared to the prior Verizon plan with a monthly fee, but I am still getting used to it.
