Gladys (Zimmerman's mother) came to lead a small but growing Catholic Hispanic enclave within the All Saints Catholic Church parish in the late 1970s, where she was involved in the church's outreach programs. Gladys would bring young George along with her on "home visits" to poor families, said a family friend, Teresa Post.

"It was part of their upbringing to know that there are people in need, people more in need than themselves," said Post, a Peruvian immigrant who lived with the Zimmermans for a time.

Post recalls evening prayers before dinner in the ethnically diverse Zimmerman household, which included siblings Robert Jr., Grace, and Dawn. "It wasn't only white or only Hispanic or only black -- it was mixed," she said.

Zimmerman's maternal grandmother, Cristina, who had lived with the Zimmermans since 1978, worked as a babysitter for years during Zimmerman's childhood. For several years she cared for two African-American girls who ate their meals at the Zimmerman house and went back and forth to school each day with the Zimmerman children.

Trayvon Martin's parents saw their son's killer face-to-face for the first time in court on Friday, where George Zimmerman took the stand to say he was "sorry for the loss of your son." A judge set bail at $150,000. NBC's Kerry Sanders reports.

"They were part of the household for years, until they were old enough to be on their own," Post said.

Zimmerman served as an altar boy at All Saints from age 7 to 17, church members said.

"He wasn't the type where, you know, 'I'm being forced to do this,' and a dragging-his-feet Catholic," said Sandra Vega, who went to high school with George and his siblings. "He was an altar boy for years, and then worked in the rectory too. He has a really good heart."

All the pieces of this scam are coming together. There are acts of racial violence happening on a daily basis around the world, but obviously the msm has been instructed to make this "the story" that is to be pounded into homes non stop across the USA....

All Saints is .... was, not a good place for altar boys. Also it is a completely syncretist establishment, preying on the ignorant.

Oh come on.

Zimmerman, by his own admission, shot an unarmed kid with a gun he should not have been carrying after pursuing him when he should not have. I think it is very likely that Travon was "standing his ground" against a nutjob with a gun and delusions of importance who was illegally harassing him. And the fact that his father is a Freemason is relevant how? Freemasons don't grieve and seek justice when their children are murdered?

This is why guys like you ultimately have to be treated as enemies. Because taking steps to defend ourselves from black criminals (like Trayvon, the boy found with a screwdriver and Jєωelry in his backpack and suspended from school because of it) means we will be punished for it.

Your hostility to racial realism and to realism on the Jєωιѕн question ultimately puts you in the camp of the enemies of Christians. You really need to think through your positions on these things.

Of course, they don't give the race of that attackers until the end of the story.

That's typical these days.

Trayvon Martin was not a "kid", but rather a fully grown (or nearly so) 6'2" negro. Four witnesses testified that they saw Martin beating Zimmerman, anyone who thinks that such an attack is not capable of inflicting serious harm, or even death ought to think again. This female prosecutor ought to be tried herself, for the unjust act of persecuting a man for the "crime" of self-defence.
