Your worst critics will be 'traditional Catholics'

  • As a researcher into the Galilean reformation which set in motion the rejection of a literal Genesis for the godless 'scientific' extrapolation of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ, I was warned by a very wise friend that so called 'traditional Catholics' will be your worst critics.

    How right he was, until I found CIF that is, a traditional Catholic forum like no other. As an example first watch this talk;

    https://remnantnewspaper.com/web/index.php/articles/item/4382-shepherds-in-jail-the-last-days-of-vatican-ii

    As you see the Remnant offers opportunities for comments. JOIN THE DISCUSSION they say.  I decided to make a few points. I first said, well done, great talk. then I said that to understand this reformation, from Faith to false-philosophy, one has to know how, where and who began it. The talk kind of placed all the fault on Modernism in the 20th century and 'coming out' at Vatican II.

    I first agreed with Mr Matt's point regarding Cardinal Pell rejection of Adam and Eve as the human race's original parents. I added this was Cardinal Ratzinger's opinion also. This opinion of course is because 'science' has long claimed the human race evolved and no pope ever condemned Darwin's 1859 book Origins of Species. Now why was that? I said because in 1835 the then popes rejected faith in Genesis and a 1616 decree that said heliocentrism was heresy. Terrified to make what they believed was another anti-science mistake after the Galileo case, all those 'traditional popes' of the Catholic Church plunged the Faith into Modernism.

    Which led me on to say that Mt Matt's example of traditional Catholic champions of the past depicts Copernicus in his video (15:30), whereas it was he who reintroduced the Pythagorean heresies under the guise of Science. This illustrated to me a lack of understanding of Church history. Finally, I remarked that the word planet used for the Earth, a word used by Mr Matt in his video, illustrated this mind game played by the enemy of Christ without anybody noticing. When referring to the Earth, give it the name God gave it, not a 'planet' as the heresy calls it.

    Anyway, that post was up for two hours before it disappeared. This was similar to the disappearing of those remarks on Fr Robinson's sites, neither will allow correction. As I was told long ago, trad Catholics do not like their trad popes being blaimed for the end-game at Vatican II. Nor it seems do the moderators of the Remnant's video site like anyone pointing out mistakes like putting Coperrnicus up as a champion for tradition or finding fault in Mr Matt's 'this planet' language.

  • No surprise; 'tis human nature + effects of Original Sin.  Those outside of traditional Catholicism aren't conversant with the kinds of criticism, and even if they were, it would not have its desired effect, to puff up the critic, and put the tradcat on the defensive or wound his feelings.

    IOW, if anot ardent fan of a particular football team were to go on at length criticizing an opposing team, I'd be bored, neither hurt nor defensive.  I have no interest in football and know very title about it.  The arguing points, even if correct, would be meaningless to me.

    A keen observation. Very keen.
    Rom. 3:25 Whom God hath proposed to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to the shewing of his justice, for the remission of former sins"

    Apoc 17:17 For God hath given into their hearts to do that which pleaseth him: that they give their kingdom to the beast, till the words of God be fulfilled.

  • I heard Fr Rippenger say that there is a special demon of criticism that is there to tempt the traditional Catholics.

  • Here is the debate between Dawkins and Cardinal Pell. Very interesting if you have a spare hour.

    Ar 15:50 Cardinal Pell should have repeated the 1st dogma of the Catholic faith: 'God can be known WITH CERTAINTY by the things that He made.'

    Julia Sweeney mentioned by Dawkins

  • There is a YouTube video sermon from Sensus Fiedlium (Fr Rippenger's website) that presents that facts that cosmic evolution (Big Bang) was an "agenda driven fairy tale for adults". It is becoming clearer to see that if the Popes of the past knew that there was no facts to back up these fairy tales, they would have condemned Darwin, heliocentrisim and all other other "scientific" plots against the Church.

    No. Sensus Fidelium is a totally separate ministry run by a different person, but Fr. Ripperger gave Steve, the owner of SF, permission to upload his talks to his YouTube Channel.

    Fr. Ripperger has a separate website for his own stuff: sentrad.org and dolorans.org
