Who would have imagined that a news feed on a mainstream app would have a "recommended article" with this title:
"The coolest sh*t under $250 on Amazon you need to buy."
What is this world coming to? This isn't a Facebook page, forum, or comments section with "posts" by average Joes -- this is what passes for PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISM now. This is a NEWS ARTICLE from a mainstream news source.
Maybe the Baby Boomers hanging onto jobs into their 70's and 80's and denying employment to Generation Z isn't completely a bad thing after all?
Call me old fashioned, but I can remember when newspapers and mainstream news websites refrained from using cuss words in their headlines.

You mean you don't need the $65 fart-filtering underwear? …or the motion-activated toilet seat night light?

Nothing surprises me anymore.

I remember when the internet was basically a bunch of information packed crappy HTML sites that you accessed through dial up. You couldn't do much business online but you had so much you could read and learn. I've noticed for the past couple of years anything that you search on, just about any browser, the results list is a bunch of marketing sites. If you look anything up on a blog you automatically have to scroll down numerous pages before you get to the information you're looking for. The internet has become tedious for me and at this point I really only go to sites that I have bookmarked. Since I live out in the middle of nowhere I do a lot of online business however.
