Nadir, you may have lost me. I was just making what I thought was a sort of amazing comparison. In no way was I even considering any possibility of one of these little creatures having any perception of speed, at least in any way comparable to our perception of speed. It was just my sense of amazement of how fast they can travel by their own God given characteristics as compared to how fast our legs can carry us and how amazing it would be to travel on our own at such relatively much faster speeds. At various times in my life I've sometimes pondered at what relative speed they would be going at if they were as big as us. When I came across this website I finally found out! That's all. I had no thoughts of evolution, atheism, etc. whatsoever.
I was sorry to find out from you that the website is based on the philosophy of some atheist, although I still haven't looked into it anymore to figure out that connection, if indeed there is one.
Welcome to CI, Always.
Yes, God’s creation is full of wonders for us to ponder. My point is that although you don’t consider these creature capable of perception, the article does engage in anthropomorphising. Well, that’s how I perceive it, anyway. I clicked on the link aboutthissite on the bottom left of page and discovered Thomas Nagle, so I decided to check him out.
I too had no thoughts of evolution or atheism, and I did not suspect you did. It appears that Nagle is still living and is 85 years old. I pray that before he departs this life he will be granted the grace of conversion. You see if he doesn’t know God then whatever he knows is just so much straw.
