yes but do YOU accept that Eve bore the greater fault or not?
That's not the point. The point is that a while ago, Croix denied the Catholic doctrine. And now, when asked if he has rejected his heresy, he responds with the same argument.

Not only did Adam disobey God, but he also was also guilty of dereliction of his duties, because he didn't do his job as the head of the house and was influenced by his wife.

Therefore, from a moral point of view, Adam's sin is far worse than Eve's. He sinned twice.

Genesis 3:12 :

And Adam said: The woman, whom thou gavest me to be my companion, gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

He tried to blame Eve for his own sins, which is absolute nonsense, because what kind of pathetic man would obey his wife?

It's not a competition, St. Thomas Aquinas obviously thought it was a question worth solving, and has taught that Eve bore the greater fault.

This is significant since women have inherited her inclinations, and men have inherited Adam's inclinations. Recognizing these facts helps men guard themselves against women who act like Eve, and it helps women guard themselves against acting like Eve.
It is not supposed to be a competition, but many people make it that, due to pride.

What you say is true, but I don't think people realize that we are suppose to conquer the vices in ourselves, the things we have similar to Adam and Eve, and lift up the virtues in others, the things we have in common with Jesus and Mary.  I strongly believe that the demons have a great time when everybody is pointing out everyone's faults.

If demons only know what they have access to, which is not our private thoughts, then when we talk about faults of others or type them out, then don't you think that gives the demons more ammunition to play with and tempt people with? Just a random thought to think about.

I do not understand the point of bringing this up.

It's really not what the discussion is about. I do not think anyone is saying we do not have personal vices to overcome.

You are literally at odds with St. Thomas Aquinas.

Good luck with that my friend.
