Not necessarily true. They can inspire because they are the weaker sex and seeing them being strong in the good sense, can remind men of their obligations.
However that is also true for children. And poor people. And handicapped people.

I don't subscribe anymore to the ideology so prevalent, even among trads, that we have to always say something nice about women, or elevate them more than they should, every time the question of the differences between sexes comes up. They are the weaker sex. FULL STOP. That should be enough for women good will to be humble.

And humility leads to people being virtuous.

Weaker meaning offering Jesus her veil to wipe his face, like Veronica.  Weaker meaning not being afraid of bringing your children and weeping over Christ's fate.  Weaker meaning being the encouraging mother, like Mary.  Weaker meaning standing at the cross and watching Our Lord die, like the three women and John, a young man.

Being weaker is fine with me.
