  • Makow may be correct, but he comes off as a whiner.

It seems odd to me that a Jєω should be the one to write these things, about the NWO, feminism, etc.

Not to cast aspersions on Makow, but it bothers me that these "popular" conspiracy columnists tend to have the backgrounds that they do.

One thing is certain - we have to make sure traditional Catholic parishes always remains 100% opposed to feminism.  Avoiding the world when possible, and not letting characters like Makow speak for us (the way Republicans have Michael Savage speak for them) is a start.

  • I think that the article is good and I don't peceive that Dr. Makow is "whining" at all.

Michael Savage is not a Republican and while most of his listeners might be considered conservative, there is not a "Republican" identity among them.

We've moved beyond Republican and Democrat.  Most thinking people realize that both parties are corrupt.

He's very repetitive.  He's not a Catholic.  He's similar to Savage in that he talks about problems but not about solutions.  Makow has a young wife he picked up in the Philipines.  I wonder if she was born Catholic?

Savage's audience are Republicans.  He is a pro-Zionist.  He also talks about a lot of genuine problems, like Makow.  Only he offers no solutions.  In fact, he offers the opposite.

I"m very concerned that many Traditional Catholics still go to the major media or even "popular" conpsiracy columnists like Makow for information.  It's as though the Jєωs can put out a trough and we will still feed from it, so long as its marked "right-wing" or "conspiracy theory."

Of course the Republicans openly betray their base, which is one of the reasons they have taken a huge hit in recent years.  Savage's job is to reach the Republican base.  What percentage of voters who listen to Savage did not vote for McCain?  What would you guess?  There's no doubt that most of his listeners that voted, voted for McCain.

I voted for Baldwin, not that I think the Constitution is the solution to our problems, but because Baldwin was the closest candidate to my views (true, not terribly close, but miles closer than the others)

  • I can understand your point of view.

I realize that Makow and Savage and Limbaugh are not good Catholics, or even "good" Protestant Christians.   I rarely ever listen to them, actually.

But they do at times point out the big lies of our culture and the politicians, and for those of us fighting it out every day in the trenches, it feels like we have some 'talking heads' speaking our language.

Thank you for offering your opinion with such good manners and grace.  I appreciate it.
