  • An 18-year-old girl hangs herself after naked pics she sent her boyfriend get shared all over the school after they broke up.

    1. People shouldn't use cell phones. ADULTS might sometimes need them, IF they are making GOOD money with them. But unless you're in sales, etc. and need to take calls after-hours wherever you are, there's no reason to use them. They DO cause brain tumors -- just keep that in mind. Just like in the 1930's a lot more people smoked cigarettes because the health consequences were not well known, so also are cell phones today. We'll be telling our astonished grandkids how even KIDS used cell phones "back in the day".

    2. Public school is horrible. It becomes worse all the time.

    3. This girl must not have been raised with Catholic morals. The family is probably Protestant or atheist. At any rate, this girl wasn't married, so no one should have seen such pictures of her.

There are lots of tragedies that happen in the world every day, but ones like this stand out to me, because they could have been SO EASILY prevented. This woman, and her mother, NEED the Catholic Faith like crops need rain.

  • Public schools are a joke!  They are there only to indoctrinate the young with false ideas!  Sadly many Catholic schools arn't much better nowadays.

  •  Keep in mind, too, that in today's godless age, the family is another sick joke... so kids are turning to their (fake, hypocritical, fickle) "friends" to replace that. Which is why they need their phones with them at all times. It's like a 3-year-old carrying around his security  blanket everywhere.

Of course, there are all kinds of tragedies about modern life, but as you say, what's needed out there is the Catholic Faith. Unfortunately, another great tragedy of modern times, is the idea of putting that faith in a box, or on the shelf when you walk out your door. The Catholic faith was, however, never meant to keep to ourselves (like the man who took the one talent and buried it). If the majority are non-Catholic, it's because there are not enough Catholics out there who are so on fire with their faith that they are living examples of the goodness, and truth and what have you of the Catholic Faith, so that people can see it and convert.

We need rosaries in the hands of serious Catholics, getting the finish worn off of them to try and save these people, and we need Catholics with as much guts and audacity as those who hate God have in publicly offending Him, who are willing to go out there and live the Faith publicly and strongly (and with charity, of course), especially in personal relationships, no matter what people are going to think of them for doing it.

If the Catholics were taking their Faith with them everywhere they went, and especially in their relationships with non-Catholics, and being a good example, the crisis and tragedy that is modern life would start to turn around. That so many out there are going through life totally ignorant of the faith, when there are supposedly how many Catholics...? To me, that's the biggest tragedy of all.

Of course, you can't be a light to the world if you put that light in a closed community somewhere, just being happy about that great Latin Mass you've got.

I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi
