Good article.  Thanks!  However, the assertion that the antichrist isn't coming anytime soon is misplaced.  How would they know?  In fact, MHFM is claiming that JP2 was the antichrist.  And their explanation which compares the history of JP2 with what is revealed by God in Sacred Scriptures about the antichrist is disconcerting.  If JP2 wasn't the antichrist, he was at least an uncomfortably close approximation.

The way God -- and history -- work is that you often have "warm ups" or "dress rehearsals" for the real thing. The whole world's adulation of JP2, despite the fact he was against Catholic Tradition, is a good foreshadowing of the antichrist. But obviously JP2 is quite mild in comparison to the real antichrist.

Yeah, I was telling people about the story of Chicken Little back in February and March. Unfortunately nobody listened. There is a reason they don't teach children these fairy tales in school anymore. They don't want them to learn the wise lessons they teach.

I've seen the claim that Paul VI was the antichrist. If the antichrist is defined as someone who leads the entire world into error, that would have to be Paul VI. But none of the other prophecies about the antichrist seem to have been fulfilled in him, especially not the coming Enoch and Elias, and he has been dead for over 40 years and the world hasn't ended yet, so I have to conclude it wasn't him.

St John defined antichrist as he who denies Christ.

"Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that Antichrist cometh, even now there are become many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour."
 1 John 2:18

"Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father, and the Son."
1 John 2:22

"And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world."
1 John 4:3

"For many seducers are gone out into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: this is a seducer and an antichrist."
2 John 1:7

So anyone who denies Christ is an antichrist.  But also the Antichrist is a specific historical person (either past, present or future) who fulfills the prophecies contained in Sacred Scripture concerning the end times.  This person will deny Christ and persecute Catholics in the final days.  But there are some specific prophecies in St John's Apocalypse relating to the Antichrist which JP2 very closely tracks.  If you want to see the specifics, go to the schismatic-home-aloner channel on YouTube.  They have a few videos on this topic both about the Apocalypse/Revelation and about JP2.

I highly recommend watching the embedded video in the article, giving the Disney cartoon from during World War 2. I remember watching it when I was a kid (my parents had it on VHS, I wasn't a kid during WW2, LOL). Wow, how chilling. So much of that matches now, from the Fox telling the dumb chick, "This is the voice of DOOM speaking!" to the Fox's point about targeting your propaganda at the dumbest people in society (mainstream media), to undermining trust in good leaders by slander campaigns (against Donald Trump), and so on. It was particularly frightening when the wise leader told them the sky wasn't falling, and the silly chicken said, "What if he's wrong?" If I haven't heard that one a hundred times since this started ...

I also saw this as a child, but seeing it again blew my mind. The psychological warfare and use of Hegel's Dialectic used by the Fox (and the facts presented by the host) closely match what Mr. Gates, Mr. Fausti, et al have done to all the chicken littles running to the cave (vaccines.)
