“Pride Month” at job
« on: Today at 12:24:22 PM »
My workplace celebrates “Pride Month” they have t-shirts and hats and flags for employees, though they are optional. They will probably advertise it inside and/or outside the building as well. I don’t think I’ll be able to find a different job before June. Do I need to quit this one? To what degree am I morally culpable for celebrating “Pride Month” if my company does this? I plan to ask my priest but I will be unable to make it to Mass this weekend because of travel.

I feel for you. Just have nothing personally to do with it. Abstain from the "celebrations." The corp is culpable for its policy. Not you. And if you can protest by giving the reason for your abstention, all the better. But I don't think that's mandatory.
