Here's a good overview of micro-dosing.  Here the intent is precisely NOT to impair your faculties (and arguably improve your cognitive functioning) while getting the benefits such as relieving anxiety and depression.

Is this sinful (assuming that it's legal)?

Microdosing was popularized for psychedelics, especially psilocybes.

It is next to impossible to microdose with marijuana.

Not Catholic, secular propaganda. Moreover, you are recommending something you do not do yourself? You have totally lost it.  You criticize Fr. Scott and the OP authors, then you post an article by a secularist MJ propagandist. With you it is all about not looking bad in a debate. You argue for arguments sake only. STOP posting your theories and get out of your booth and go into the real world and buy some pot and test your theories out before your start recommending anything.

We don't have to have an abortion to know abortion is wrong.
That excuse falls dead in this case, for no one is asking anyone to cut off their arm or kill a baby, Ladislaus can just go buy some pot and smoke it and tell us if it is like a beer. I posted an excellent detailed article PRECISELY comparing drinking beer as food vs. smoking MJ to the same degree, and all we get back from the 5 pro-dopers is complaints and personal critiques, but not a one Catholic article.

Alcohol is just as likely to be abused as MJ (Unsubstantiated)
  LT, have you never heard of AA meetings?  There are literally thousands of people who attend meetings DAILY in my medium-sized city alone.  Addictions come in all forms and alcohol has a history of problems which only the stubborn deny.
