I have never heard of, let alone encountered, such an evil as disgust at the mere sight of a baby. That to me sounds like demonic influence. Could it be that said girls are reacting to a previous abortion?

Certainly women are having fewer babies, but there are many factors involved, other than fear.
Personally, I never feared having children. I did not even think much about it till it happened
I would agree that there are other factors and that this has been going on for awhile now, but I think a large factor is their own familial experience as a child.   This won't be the underlying factor for all, but I do think it's a biggie.

This is the stronger argument, by far, than the opposing argument "this is no time to have kids".
One could go back through history and give all the excuses why one should have remained single. But obviously life goes on, which is how the human race survived till 2020.
