I know in schools we see families  that have vouchers for section 8 housing (where the government pays the landlord--interestingly enough single homes can become section 8 and the rents charged are much higher than the norm non-section 8), so free rent.

The government uses these programs to support the migration of inner city blacks and somali foreigners into the rural parts of the midwest.

They really don't want a single peaceful community to exist.

There is a pathological hatred for the white gentile American.

I am in the Midwest.  When I tagged along for the parochial school "Meet the Teacher" night for the children I will be caring for, I noticed there were a few Somalian families.  The girls were covered, so I assume they are practicing Muslims.  While there are a lot of Somalians who live around here, I am surprised they would want the children in Catholic schools.  I imagine most of them are not paying full tuition, but why would Parish grants be extended to non-Catholics?

I also wonder about the prayer thing.  I know in the public schools they have to allow blocks of time each day for Muslim students to pray. Will the Catholic school allow this too?   :confused1:

It just sounds "too bad to be true" like it's typical Republican e-mail forward urban legend nonsense.

I don't think the government gives out "free rent", or there wouldn't be any homeless or tent cities. They have Section 8 housing, which is where you can go any time of day or night to do a drug deal, to give you some idea of how safe those areas are.

And if she gets so much for Food Stamps and a "blank check" for rent wherever she wants to live, why do they give her a $1500 replacement income (disability)? Is that supposed to be "fun money"? That doesn't make sense.

    That government isn't that generous.

I don't work for the government or social services, though, so I can't say with the certainty I usually have on this forum (about matters of Faith, etc.)

It also doesn't mention that she has any children. A single woman getting $700 in food stamps sounds like a lot. And there's a good chance she doesn't have any/more than 1 child if she's buying a Ford Focus. Have you ever driven/rode in one? If it were any smaller, it would be a 2-seater. The biggest selling point for the Focus is its 40 MPG fuel economy.

And am I the only once that noticed it all adds up to a nice, tidy $3,000?

    $1500 for disability
    $700 for food stamps
    $800 for rent

Too convenient, if you ask me.

    I know 2 examples

My next door neighbor sits at home all day on disability. I dont know what he gets compensation wise - but I do know he drives an F 150 Pickup , isnt married - doesnt plan on ever working again.  My sons father in law went to school with him has known him since they were kids and he is a master brick layer.  And before anyone tells me - "you dont know - he might be disabled" he is a friend of a guy in town who had been on disability for 20 years because of "Vietnam War Time Stress" or some such nonsense. This guy has been saying for years how one day he is going to do the same thing.  And when Obama was elected - about 6 months later , voila. I see him doing all kinds of stuff around his house so his disability must not be that "severe. "

    My Daughters Democrat Husband.

Has been on unemployment 2 times in the last 4 years - as soon as he qualifies - he somehow "loses his job" and then comes every excuse in the book for not finding another right up until the Unemployment runs out then POOF - He is working !!!!!!

    These are the problems.

People who dont want to work are milking the system.

PTSD is not nonsense. You are wrong to dismiss it.  I would say his case is probably quite severe as they were very reluctant to give out those labels from the Vietnam War.  Many of these boys were drafted, they went in as healthy capable young men, they did not choose to be psychologically crippled by war unable to function in society.

there is an effort to move them to middle AMerica true enough. We had a few Prots and Jєωs in my Catholic school, they were exempt from religion classes if parents wanted it that way.......some, too bad they werenot, as teacher was a modernist......perhaps said Muslims if the RCC school is good, might convert or at least, here the Truth and have to answer for it later.......then again, they take up a spot a Catholic kid should have.....

Would not allow them to pray in Catholic grounds........but todays NewChurch, probably would be allowed and encourged, plus others would be pushed to join them, Assisi in minature.....

true, many "milk" the system, but you noted in your response a lot of observations, but not a lot of details-why he is one disability? how old is the truck? why would he not be allowed to havea vehicle? what kind of "stuff" does he do? he was not doing it before Obama? really? and your neighbor, he is a representative of all disability claimants? you know this for certain? PTSD is  nonsense? really? Its natural, then to see people blown up and such? Ever heear how WWI and WWII vests came back and were never the same? no, that was rather hidden and not discussed in the flag waving.....a lo of them took to drink or pain killers.......

you really dont know the situation with the neighbo, and yes, I WILL say so..been doing disability claims for nearly 9 yrs, and I am more conservative about thse things then teh flag waving, never-served Limaugh/Bush ditto headed neighbor of mine at work, one that thinks the programs are great..

tehre are a lot of guidelines on disability, plus there is a huge back log of reviews of claims and approvals.......

your son in law-so, he is as he is and so everyone else on disability is that way? really? you know little about hte actual, in depth details of the neighbor, havea "blame it all on the ___ (democrat in office)" and some issues, more to home, w/son in law.......also, you ID as s democrat and hence, a slacker....

again, then, why does my co-worker, who lsitens to Fox news, 6+ hrs of conservative talk radio, still loves GW Bush, why does he think I am nutes when I state the whole system of disability/welfare is corrupt? why does this fellow support all the welfare programs?

why do menay of my Claimants hate Obama/Dems and a few cal him "that nigger President".......many of my claimants are white, rednecks a well as others......many express GOP support  and related buzz words.....

maybe the neighbor is a slacker, that happens. Some of my co-workers are too, showing up, doing minimum and getting a paycheck-is that ok with you if they show up and push some papers around?

Day is coming, likely soon, when you could and may become one you mock......a lot of people never would have been a few yrs ago, then a lost job, stroke, etc...

  • Ok, here's a better example of the Republican "partisan politics", 2-party, nonsense, bitter, rubbish I was talking about:

    Quote
Is this a great country  or what????

Found in the parking lot of a  grocery store, Menominee,  Michigan

The 1  in 7 Americans currently on food  stamps certainly  appreciate the opportunity to dine on lobster and  porterhouse steak  at  YOUR EXPENSE.  What's  for dinner at your  house tonight?

Hows  that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for ya?

  • True, more Americans are on Food Stamps than ever before. But don't you think it has something to do with the current DEPRESSION we're in?

As a matter of fact, many Food Stamps recipients run out of money before the end of the month, and they have to stretch their benefits to stay fed. Porterhouse steak certainly isn't on the menu.

I've heard that the calculations for Food Stamps aim to keep you fed for 3 to 3 1/2 weeks.

You might have more money for food if you have lots of children, as they count "number of people in the household".

I'm sorry, but welfare abuse and fraud was around long before Obama. That includes under Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr., etc.

If people are getting the maximum benefit amount and have access to a heat source to cook, under normal circuмstances it is enough to survive on.
    1 person is $200, 4 is $ 668, and 8 is $ 1,202.

Obviously a teenage boy is going to eat more than a 3 year old so situations vary.
