    • At my chapel, I see that practically every thought that comes out of the 9 and over girls mouth revolves around  "Who is your crush?". Really? Traditional Catholic parents find this normal for girls that young or at any age?

    In the world, I've been told many times by parents when their little children (4 to 10) are playing with mine in a park, "I think they found a new love". My answer is always the same, "no such thought enters the mind of little children unless adults keep hammering it into their minds. Let them be children while they are children, the time of innocence is short enough as is".

    Now, I see the same stupidity among so-called traditionalists parents and teachers, their little girls only talking about "their crush"? Where do they learn these stupidities, on TV? The parents think this is normal? What blind guides. I pity the future of these girls who are already acting boy crazy at such a young age.

    On the other hand, I see the same age boys all get along with each other and all doing boy things with no interest in girls whatsoever. That is good to see.

    Adam like the little boys in my OP was "doing boy things with no interest in girls whatsoever", and Eve had to ruin the whole thing.

    • Keep children off the internet and computerize games.  Children don’t need to watch cartoons at all. Get rid of tv. They don’t need it.    Also, children have way too many toys and stuffed animals etc. Playgrounds are full of germs too.  Too many children are being kidnapped from playgrounds in our area.

    Parents, teachers and clergy are committing sin when they condone sin.  The world is sɛҳuąƖly grooming little children and Catholics are not to be of the world.

    There is too much “play” and not enough chores too.

    Boys have always just been a little bit behind.  They naturally find girls gross ... until they hit puberty.  Then most of them will end up girl crazy.  So it’s not that the boys are immune, just running behind as they always have.

    So in one sense this is nothing new.

    • But also, someone has to tell those girls they are supposed to be fussing over boys. It has to be popular with the other girls, to get the rest of the girls to do it.

    I agree.  Someone posted that the parents are involved in promoting it.  They probably got these ideas from their peers.  Even if the parents condone and enable it, I don't think it originated with them.

    I sent my kids to a Traditional Catholic School, and even there they were getting some bad notions from their peers.  It just takes one kid who's been exposed to the modern world to infect the entire group, and I'm still battling the after effects of some of that.

    The origination point does not matter, it is the parents and teachers duty to squelch it and teach the children proper behavior. If the bad example, bad apple, is not corrected, then the parents and the teachers  failed in their duty. With my children I squelched it immєdιαtely. My girls recognize the behavior as idiotic, a sign of stupidity. They have the conviction to squelch it themselves whenever they run into it. Like an adult squelching a gossiper.  My observation is that the girls have nothing to do, no activities, and all that is left for them is gossip, and the parents and teachers think this is normal, do not see anything wrong.

    My experience with the many SSPX schooled trad boys that I have personally known, is that they are totally different than the boys of the world, they do not go girl crazy at puberty. They are very much in control of themselves, realizing that girls are a financial responsibility, for which they are not yet prepared. To them girls mean a wife and many children, and not just a quick pleasure.

    The ones not brought up right, are usually gone by 10th grade, they do not go to mass, and go out into the world to live miserable mixed lives. Mixed lives? Because they learned not to abort children, but they like the iniquitous behavior, they will end up with out of wedlock children and "shotgun weddings" or shacking up with someone, and from there live miserable lives till they convert or die.

    Of the girl crazy ones, did they really have a decent Catholic upbringing? How did they turn out? All of the boy crazy girls and girl crazy boys that I have know, did not turn out well.
