    • I’ve seen adds from BloomChic and have been surprised at how decent some of their dresses are. I would definitely wear some of them. You’ve got to wade through some immodest ones though. I’ve seen some dresses from Shein that are modest as well. 

    I think both of those places use China to produce their products as cheap as they are. I don’t care for that. 

    Is she interested in sewing? That can really widen her possibilities.

    I am just baffled to the response of this thread. My feeling is that some people have just lost their direction and have no idea how to be charitable.  The saying "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." comes to mind.

    So, there's a difference between the theological sense of the word "adore" and the colloquial sense, and he certainly meant the latter and was not suggesting that you literally worship your husband as if he were God.

    ditto my last comment... he clearly did not mean the term in its theological sense and for the wife to literally worship his husband.  In the colloquial sense, it means something along the lines of thinking the world of him.

    I think he’s just getting her a nice present and she has asked for dresses. I’m sure she goes and buys her own clothes at other times. Hope so anyway!!
