  • I’ve seen adds from BloomChic and have been surprised at how decent some of their dresses are. I would definitely wear some of them. You’ve got to wade through some immodest ones though. I’ve seen some dresses from Shein that are modest as well.

I think both of those places use China to produce their products as cheap as they are. I don’t care for that.

Is she interested in sewing? That can really widen her possibilities.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • My husband loves to buy me beautiful things that I wouldn’t buy myself. He’s bought me dresses before because he knows I love them but is scared he’ll get something wrong so he will ask his mom for advice. I’ve loved all the clothes he’s ever gifted me. He puts so much thought into them based on what he thinks I will like. They were things I would have never splurged on for myself.

Also, why are you assuming that because he’s getting his wife some dresses for Christmas that she’s not allowed to buy her own clothes normally?  I think it’s great he’s buying her dresses for Christmas!
    Good post.

I am just baffled to the response of this thread. My feeling is that some people have just lost their direction and have no idea how to be charitable.  The saying "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." comes to mind.
