The Knights were started to allow Catholic men to enjoy the comraderie that Protestants, Jєωs, and Muslims enjoyed at Masonic Lodges, without all the "shadowy agendas".
But the Knights embraced the "ecuмenism" of today's Catholics and hold ecuмenical meetings with Masons to repair for "past agressions" between the two groups.
But, among today's mainstream Catholics, they never find out that you ain't s'posed to fraternize with Masons.
