Quite too often I'm seem more and more adults, even with familes, displaying tattoos, talking about getting new ones and such. I personally have none and no desire for one.
Growing up, I've only know military servicemen getting a couple small ones and the rest were unsavory individuals often displaying tattoos which would only appeal to other like minded people.
I'm curious why supposed, middle class, otherwise clean cut people would want such frivolous displays of impetuousness and vainglory permanently attached to their skin. From what I've seen this past summer, I would gather most people under 45 now have at least one.
Is this just accepted fashion these days? Or indicative of society's moral decay?
