He has some points.

I think it's a good starter for a discussion, so I posted it.

Everyone is most welcome to critique the article.

I re-read the part you quoted, and I don't see any reason for shuddering. He isn't saying that you should beat your wife. He is saying that if you give up control, under the pretext of "being nice", then you actually aren't showing true love to your wife or child.

If you restrict your reading to saintly, traditional Catholics then I think our libraries would only have a bit of spiritual reading and not much more. We wouldn't know anything at all about the world.

So we must THINK and discern. Thinking is indispensable.

Good Matthew. I learn from him, and with God's help I see right through anything contrary to the faith. But, as far as things wrong with society he has many of the same complaints I do. Michael Savage (Wiener) also a Jєω says that any decent mother whether Christian or Jєωιѕн does not want the liberal perverts touching her kids.
