  • The habit of these nuns includes no guimpe (or a black one), a black veil, a white wimple, a rectangular white coif:

  • I don't know, but I do know that the SSND, School Sisters of Notre Dame, were black and white, AND that they changed the design and look of the head piece veil in the early 60's.  My school nun, was very grateful to have the head piece changed, because she had headaches do to it.
