I don't think they're getting the entire thing.
Harvard, years ago, did a study (that they have since buried because the perverse didn't -like- it coming out) that 90% of men that they asked that were ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ had one of three things happen in their lives....
1) sɛҳuąƖly molested as a child
2) Raped as a child
3) Exposed to sɛҳuąƖly explicit material as a child.
Quite alarming, isn't it?
I think that's why Our Lord stressed why it was bad to scandalize and what would happen to those who scandalized "My little ones."
It's in 3 out of four of the gospels, so it was important, methinks. Here's just one.
Matthew 18:6 But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.
