Many people have the faulty belief Vatican 2 is Catholic, and many of those who know Vatican 2 is not Catholic; they use the sins of Vatican 2 as an excuse to blame Catholicism; thus trying to discredit Catholic Tradition.

Since many Non-Catholics have finally figured out the world is descending into chaos, what will it take for them to realize God is mad at them for their irreligion?

What are some possibilities of circuмstances that help set the stage for restoration of the Catholic Church?

Nothing less than a disaster of epic proportions would be able to make a restoration possible. The degeneracy is too deep, in both our respective governments, and civilian populaces. You don't just change that without something big, and usually bloody, happening. The fall of the Roman Empire was the last disaster, now it's either going to be WW3, the collapse of the globalized economy, or 'Right wing' (and I use the word in the broadest possible sense) resurgence, and subsequent left wing backlash, across Europe.

I agree, some huge and world-wide catastrophe. Could be man-made or natural but it would have to be a chastisement of epic proportions to get these stiff-necked people to take notice!

I disagree. A natural disaster would probably cause people to just panic or tighten their embrace of the Conciliar church.

The Restoration will happen when Our Lord wills it.

The Restoration may actually be a quiet thing as the last happy clappy in the Novus Ordo passes away or the last precious soul enters an SSPX chapel.

Chastisement of the world, including annihilation & obliteration of the Novus Ordo sect. The world and the counterfeit church is beyond the point of no return. That doesn't mean the Lord doesn't offer His graces sufficient for people to come home to the true Faith - He does, indeed, but, on a collective scale, people will continue to reject His graces. Now, and the future, is about saving individual souls.

Restoration will happen when the faithless, wicked and lukewarm are purged from the earth, just as in the days of Noah.
