  • hey,

I'm just wondering what you do to help sinners to lead them back to God? And what should I be doing?

  • The best I can do at the moment is to try to live an exemplary life, do little works of charity were possible and pray always for sinners. If an opportunity comes up to explain my faith I try to do so to the best of my ability.  That can seem like a losing battle especially if those sinners belong to one of those sects like Seventh Day Adventists.

And what should you be doing?
That all depends on your own situation in your life. You know that but I don't know you at all. Tell us little about that please.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

  • Yes! We pray for sinners...then we all congregate here and bash them later. Bash them, bash each other, bash fellow Catholics in other churches. Just glance through our threads and see what I mean....then outside non-Catholics say we are the biggest hypocrites and what hope do we have of helping them to God then?

if I may say what I think on reading this?
sounds like you avoid evangelizing whenever possible. that is dangerous if you want to get to heaven.. The Church teaches we jeopardize our souls if we do not evangelize on a regular basis. I am not saying I am thrilled about doing it but I try to reach at least a few people on a regular basis

  • We should lead the holiness that God calls us to live.

  • Volunteering at a retirement facility and offering to lead the Rosary is a great way.
There is also a great need for praying and offering counseling outside of abortion clinics or volunteering at a pregnancy hotline.
    Praying for others (and ourselves).
Truly striving in making your home a Catholic home.
If you work in an office- place a crucifix or holy card at your desk which may trigger a conversation.
I am He who is- you are she who is not.

  • you can send anonymous emails to people

if you don't like directly confronting people who may argue with you... as non-Catholics always do when Catholics are evangelizing
