Yes Sigismund. I have the Mind's Eye production of the Hobbit, and it is very good. I wish the BBC would re-do The Hobbit. The 60s version out there is a bit woeful in spots.
The unabridged readings of the Hobbit and LOTR are excellent. As is Martin Shaw's reading of The Silmarillion.
I try to listen to all the audio I have of Tolkien's works, on a regular basis. I think I have all the audio (of every version) of his works, as I have been able to research.
Children of Hurin read by Christopher Lee is another gem. Same for the dramatized versions of Tales from the Perilous Realm.
For any Narnia fans here, Focus on the Family did an excellent dramatized version of all the Chronicles of Narnia.
