  •   OK as you are fighting modernism, liberalism, egalitarian  and anti-family, anti-gender roles ideologies, what would you do about people and nations who fall into opposite extreme?
Those who go to extremes in keeping a gender role (mock the barren woman, mock the slim man) go to extremes in loving babies (want a baby at any price, even adultery or kidnapping someone else's child) go to extremes in keeping your honor (denying that you have a handicap sibling before your friends because it is bad reputation).

What are the limits of boys will be boys? will you allow them to play with fire crackers, no matter how many explosions ends in death or amputations each year? Will you allow totall violence?
What are the limits of honoring elders? what if an elder is trying to damage you or your kids? what if an elder insults your dear ones? what if an elder is wrong and a child is right in some matter?
What are the limits of loving our reputation and observing social norms? what if you need to break a norm in oder to help someone?
And please when you fight a heresy/sin don't forget all those people who fall into the opposite heresy/sin. God Bless!

The cure is the same: fidelity to the living God and what He has revealed about Himself, how we must conduct ourselves toward Him and our fellows, etc.

There is only one place to find the cure for whatever ails us: the infirmary of Holy Church, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

  •   Yes. If some missionary wanted to preach to certain nations, materials like those on TFP and TIA websites would not be helpful as cultures some have too much sense of honor and order even at the expense of their souls.

  • Just as individuals have different traits and temperaments, so do nations have general characteristics.  When God sees fit to convert a nation, He always sends the perfect instrument to do the job.

  • Is anyone here advocating these things?
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  •   Not here. But in the outside world, yes, many many people.
Once TIA posted something under the title of "forgotten truths" about importance of family. Well, some cultures do place too much importance on family. Even saying that bad actions of parents can be transmitted to their seeds and then to their babies. So maybe it is not such a "forgotten" truth (truth?) as they think.

  • Proof positive, I suppose, that "conservative" does not necessarily mean "Catholic".
