Just because they're utilized as one's username does not necessarily mean there used as literal names. If I decided to sign up to another forum with the username "eureka", I may be inspired by the incident that is told of Archimedes. Eureka could be a girls' name, but there is no rule that a username has to correspond to an actual name.
The thought that that person was a baby when I was 20 years old would be off-putting enough. But, if he has a good wife and a beautiful family because of it, why judge?
I know what you mean by off-putting, but I'm thankful for my great-grandparents. He was 45, she was 18 when they wed. Married 45 years, 6 children that survived to adulthood, I've never counted the current number of descendants.
Off-putting for sure, in our current culture.
