  • Ancient peoples would have been more in tune with natural surroundings compared to us today and also personal recognition, although as now, people can still disguise themselves. 

    They would have been able to identify specific trees or people they knew long before. 

    Granted, people can also misidentify due to fallen nature, but actual careful scientific study should be carried out, unlike the a prior assumptions that the modern scientific establishment has today.
