I got my copy of the book -- WOW is it awesome; I've already learned a lot. I was worried that a lot of it wouldn't apply to my specific circuмstances.
But I've already learned MANY good principles that will help me succeed in my orchard, garden, etc. in the future. Well worth the $17.
And I was surprised that the book had *lots* of full color photos scattered throughout. It has some pictures of various "wild plants" that indicate different things about your soil (nitrogen rich, nitrogen poor, acidic, etc.), it has some lists at the end about what garden plants do well together, etc.
I'm already on page 60, and I'm reading it as fast as I can! :)
