Video on Hell - what is available online?
« on: October 14, 2019, 07:40:41 PM »
Can anyone recommend a good video on Hell --- what it is like, what kind of behavior sends one there, something that could make a person think about the ultimate end of those who die estranged from God?  I have in mind ideally something that has CGI or similar effects, or at the very least, artwork and imagery that makes the point.  It would not absolutely have to be made under traditional Catholic auspices, though that would obviously be best, as long as nothing patently heretical was in the video.  I'm looking for something at least 15-20 minutes, preferably more.  YouTube availability would be good, as I want to download it and I have YouTube download software.

This is NOT for Hallowe'en, nor for amusement.  I want to use it to appeal to a very few people who are close to me, to get them to re-think their approach to matters of faith.

Most Holy Family Monastery's Death and the Journey Into Hell is good, but is not quite what I'm looking for.  (This is not an endorsement of MHFM or their opinions, just making the statement that it's a good video.  The faceless spokesman wearing a black hood and cloak was a little bizarre.)

Something like this is the next movie Mel Gibson needs to consider making.

Precisely what I had in mind.  Thanks so much!

About the MHFM video Death and The Journey to Hell, to me it seems like they are reading from St. Alphonsus Preparation for Death?  If so, wonder why they didn't mention it?  If they did, please correct me.
