Title: US Post office
Post by: Viva Cristo Rey on November 21, 2013, 04:54:19 PM: I just got my mail. In it is a mailer for the United States post office " holiday stamps". From left to right is shown: Hanukkah, Gingerbreadhouse, and Kwanzaa.

Above I big red letters: "don't forget your holiday stamps!"

There is definitely an anti - christian sentiment in this country, which seems strange, considering that not that long ago, the US was at least a Christian country. Never Catholic, though, but Puritan Protestant in its roots.

The anti- Christ agenda is evident in these times of Apostasy. .

The Holy Family stamp, first issued in 2012, celebrates Christmas with a scene from the Nativity story that reminds us of the joys of the season: family, togetherness, and the birth of the baby Jesus. It continues the U.S. Postal Service's tradition of issuing beautiful and timeless Christmas stamps and will be a treasured addition to cards and letters sent during this season of goodwill and sharing.

Working together, art director William J. Gicker, designer Greg Breeding, and artist Nancy Stahl created an evocative image of the Holy Family. The stamp illustration shows Joseph leading a donkey that carries Mary and Jesus, guided by a star shining in the twilight of a desert sky.

The Holy Family stamp is being issued as a Forever® stamp. Forever stamps are always equal in value to the current First-Class Mail® one-ounce rate.

Made in the USA.

I'm upset by the recent advertisement from the US postal service.

I really think you need to pick your battles better. Of all the things to get upset about, stamps?? Does anyone even look at them?

Post by: Thorn on November 21, 2013, 10:28:07 PM: Actually, you have to ask for the Religious or Nativity Christmas stamp, otherwise they'll give you the Gingerbread stamp. Irritating, I know but this is America. I won't say any more.
