    Right, that's what I meant about not wanting to be "blamed" for it ... by certain otherwise-conservative (aka fiscally conservative) types, who may not be particularly Pro Life.  Pro Lifers will give him credit anyway, but this way he can slightly distance himself from it for those who might not be super happy about the decision.

    As far as re-election, part of his schtick in 2016 was in fact to brag ... about how he's going to win so much that people would get tired of winning, etc.
