  • When was the last time a president even mentioned Our Lord by name?  When was the last time a president quoted Scripture and referred to "eternal life"?  God bless our President.

You can start at 2:25 if you want to hear the dedication remarks.

  • there is a nice cheer for Our Lord at about 2:56.

  • Trump to son-in-law Kushner:

"Yeah Jared... can we give the goys a Christmas show?   They really like that kind of stuff and I'll get more votes out of it"

As our "Christian" president almost catches his hair on fire while lighting the White House menorah.

No doubt, it will be an Israeli hosted Christmas at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Even to say "Merry Christmas" has been all but banned - no?
Thanks for posting Pax, it's awesome to hear our president say what he said!

  • Obama did Quote the Bible, and quoted it right. He then twisted it to fit his agenda. Usually only when talking about finding acceptance for ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ, and illegal immigrants.

  • George W. Bush did often.

And providentially, Our Lord reviewed those same Biblical quotes with George yesterday!

You know he's reading a prepared statement, because he doesn't even try to hide the fact he's reading it off the paper in front of him.

But even so, his inflection and dynamics clearly say, he means what he says, and this is perhaps the easiest thing he's had to read out.

How Presidential! How honest! How refreshing! This was just perfect.

Oh, absolutely. But in the Protestant way of looking at it.

How the Protestants view Our Lord and the Catholics view our Lord are radically different.

The Protestant image of Jesus Christ is this neo-Communist figure who in His Father's book said nothing about sin, hell, judgment or anything that might insist that they are real things -- it's the New Testament through the eyes of a Marxist and not real Christian thought. Like the televangelists, it's primarily warm-sounding vacuous speeches that once a paragraph, put Christian verbiage inside to make them seem "holy".

The Catholic image of Our Lord and God is the correct one, the one that acknowledges that there is sin in the world, people DO go to hell and that in St. Luke's account of the Passion, when He said "This is My Body," and gave us for the first time, the Holy Mass, He meant "This is My Body".

Obama went to a United Church of Christ church for most of his life, and they are the epitome of this way of seeing Our Lord and Christian thought.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

The White House dreidel photo is not photo-shopped.  It's public record.

Trump used it last year for his big White House Hannukah party instead of a menorah.

Here's a nice video for the kosher flavor Trump's "Christian" White House.

I almost cried at 3:16.  I mean, when was the last time you heard a president tell us the Jєωs were the "light of all nations"?
