     PATHETIC!!! At least 4 years ago, there was some sensible debate here... 

    I didn't vote for Trump in the last election, but I did encourage all CI members to do so... 

    I'm now all in for Trump in 2020! He's the best we have now in our time... actually, I'd argue that we are not deserving of him! (Let the arrows fly!) 

    I'm NOT going to rehash all that was debated 4 years ago, but I sincerely ask that all the "Never Trumpers" on this forum to pull their heads out of their a$$`s and do the best that can be done from a bad situation! 

    Nothing more to be said.

    • Finally, some common sense if you vote for some other candidate and Trump does not get in. The abortions will be worse and religious freedom will be gone.

    What religious freedom? Trump allowed churches to be closed down for months, and he balked at the opportune time to close down baby-murder mills under the guise of "containing the virus outbreak".

    The coward bishops shut down the Mass in their dioceses even before the liberal blue governors did.

    The bishops, priests and "pastors" in this country are much more controlled opposition than Trump.

    Too many Trads today are still stuck in “Catholic Middle Ages” idealism.  America is not, and was never, a catholic country.  Yet they judge every politician as unfit for office because they fall short of the attributes of Charlemagne.  Idealism is good but it must be mixed with prudence and realism, or else you view the world through the lens of a catholic fantasy.  The perfect is the enemy of the good.

    • And anyone that says that Trump is killing the economy has no idea what they’re talking about.  The financial system has been manipulated since the 70s and after the recession of 2008, the financial issues were just delayed.  We’ve seen nothing yet.

    And those who say that the president (any president) can overrule the governors and “open churches up”, well, that’s not how the american republic of 50 states works.  Go read a civics book.  It’s called States’ rights (what little they have left).

    Problem is, in theory that is correct. but it didn't apply pre-cινιℓ ωαr........or the Obama Administration.

    It's almost laughable how all  we hear from the Dem Gov's about state's sovereignty in their own states these days, but didn't want to hear nothing of it when Obongo was in the White house. ::)

    • Trump allowed the governors (both blue and red) to take away our rights to assemble for worship. He could have immediately issued an executive order categorizing churches as essential. Trump only makes churches essential after the beta test garnered enough data on how people would react to their rights to publicly and privately assemble for worship were stripped away.

    Also, it took Trump 3 1/2 years to wage a counter attack against the war on the 1st Amendment by the social media giants, and he only did it because he was personally stymied by Twitter. That's narcissism to the core. The hell with everyone else's free speech.

    • Trump has done everything he could to stop the baby killing. When you have Democratic Congress that funds them with billions of dollars what is he to do. Unlike Obama Trump is not a dictator. I think we need to vote out the Rhino Republicans and try to restore some sense of decency. As I recall Trump has been kinda busy maybe if the Democrats would stop trying to impeach him every day of the week he might have been able to stop the conservatives from being blocked by twitter.
