I picked up a book at an Estate Sale, soft cover by Dudley LeBlanc, the True Story of the Acadians.  It tells of the French Catholics of Nova Scotia in the 1650 -1750's.  The Brits taking over the land and how the people were brutally treated, murdered, raped and such.  The scheme of convincing the Acadians to stay, and have their religion, and how the Brits took their 2,500 guns and never told them that they were to be exterminated.  Longfellow wrote a poem, "Evangelina" about the Acadians.  When reading this book, it made me stop and think how the New Order is giving the same idea, of how to stay and keep their religion, and not know that they are and being exterminated, with no Grace, no sacraments.  Nothing could be worse.  At least the Acadians had their souls!
