  • I'm sure most have seen this chart before. It used to be hosted in it's most updated format at faithfulcatholics.com but the site apparently doesn't exist anymore.

Does anyone know if there is a more updated version hosted on the web somewhere?
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • Whether or not one likes, approves of, or accepts the validity of the Duarte Costa, Mathew, and Vilatte lines, this chart is incomplete without these lines even if these are out of the mainstream of traddiedom. There are even esoteric, occult lines further out beyond the mainstream, but those would be pendantic to include.

  • I know Thuc did his share of consecrations but it hadn't occurred to me that the line was so extensive - that those he consecrated have extended the line so far and wide.  Of course +Williamson has added a couple of others not on the list too.

  • I have never seen an updated version.

Abp. Thuc's pre-conciliar consecrations are included

They are irrelevant, considering this is about Traditionalism.

  • So it's true what Fr. Cekada said about Traddom - there's a bishop in every garage.

It looks like they are included because there are others who claim to have been consecrated by +Thuc and are "either disproved or not proven".   So, it would be relevant if some unknown trad bishop claimed to be consecrated by him and was not on the list.

I'd like to print this out to get a better handle on what is being provided here, but I'm wondering whether my printer will go bonkers from its sheer size and small font.

I just saved both pages, and increased the size on my photo browser.  You can go up and down, left and right, to find the desired information.

When I saw all of this, I just said "woo-WEE!" and kind of rolled my eyes (figuratively) at how intricate it all is.  Lots of spaghetti to untangle.

A cursory review of one of the pages shows a number of names that are pre-Vatican II in order to show lines of succession. That certainly adds to the "spaghetti".  Just looking at the "Key" makes my head spin which is why I prefer to print it out to make sense of it. I'm going to try and print it...

  • Do you (or anyone else) have this (and the second page) as a file/attachment, so I can download and print?
