I agree -- listening to audio books carries a lot of benefits, especially when they are READ WELL. When you get a very good reader, the book comes alive.
The only advantage of reading the book yourself is you can go back and re-read something that you have found wasn't clear enough, and it's very fast to find it, whereas with audio books, going back for one little thing is frustrating, especially when that one thing was mispronounced or the volume was too weak to hear easily.
Plus -- with a paper book you can write in the margins!! :surprised:
