The only feature I ever liked about the Fisheaters website (maybe InternetArchive will help) was the look of it. VoxClamantis shouldn't teach Catholicism, but maybe she should venture into web design. Look how well-designed it is: https://www.fisheaters.com/

When I built judaism.is I built it with a desktop monitor in mind. The most consistent request I had from readers was to make the site work better on smart phones. With multiple columns, many images, multiple proprietary fonts, and a sliding navigation panel, the site was never esthetically pleasing on a smart phone.

I am rebuilding the site with a much simplified format, single column, and only universally available fonts (serif for blocks of text because it is easier to read and sans serif for headers and captions) that should be much more pleasing on a smart phone.

Since I am early in the re-design, this is a good time to offer any suggestions. I invite suggestions now.

Now, just to defend him a tad bit, I myself joined Twitter/X about 6 months ago, and I can attest that a ton of fake followers (many of them attempting to sell things or lead you to porn sites, etc.) just go around automatically attachment themselves as followers to your account.  But the #s cannot be that high unless you pay for them.

I used to go in and manually block all these turds, but at some point it got to be too much work, so I just ignore them.  You could employ a setting to allow only "Verified" followers, but then you'd be blocking people who aren't giving some of their money to Musk.

Well, just to attack him a tad bit, I believe he was interacting with these shady characters. In once case I think he was even interacting with some prostitute (IRL I believe) to try to convert them or some such nonsense. It's a bit hazy, if you want the details go back and read those threads I posted. But one does not simply hang out with a prostitute hoping to "convert them". That's a lame excuse. And before you quote me Lives of the Saints*, keep in mind that Eric Gajewski is not a priest. He has neither the grace nor the calling nor the the office to work among serious sinners to convert them. For him to do so would be PRESUMPTION and he would only have himself to blame for any fall.

Especially working among sinners whose sins have a certain universal "pull" on human nature (speaking about sins of the sixth and ninth). Just for starters, he'd need to put on a cassock to show he is dedicated to God, and to show the world he is dead to the world. Why doesn't he just become a priest at that point? My point exactly. It's messed up.

Next, the problem with his fake followers was that they were one after the other, nonstop. There wasn't much evidence of any *real* followers. He clearly was buying them. And it wasn't just one platform, but all of them. Fake views on youtube videos, fake twitter followers, fake Facebook followers, fake members on his forum, etc. It was a real pattern, a modus operandi for him: to inflate his apparent influence, reach, and importance. And sure enough, he was the first one to throw numbers around (of course!) since he had spent plenty of good benefactor money to buy those numbers.

* I am well aware that many Saints worked with great sinners. But they took precautions, and they weren't some single layman living with his mother. These saints wore the cassock (a reminder to themselves and to the world that they are dedicated to God), lived a life of daily prayer and sacrifice, had a foundation of 6 years of seminary study, plus much growth in virtue over the years with various spiritual training, not to mention that at their ordination they received the graces of state to work their apostolate. Their life commitment, having given up so much already for the Kingdom of Heaven, is kind of like a "sunk cost" or "skin in the game" which also helps a bit (humanly speaking) to keep them on the straight and narrow. But God's grace, which they also have, is many times more powerful.

Because he doesn't have the brain power nor original thought to answer you. He usually rips off other people's ideas and findings, hence, he takes at least a day or two to repackage it and formulate it into his "own thinking" and posits.

He's a clown show, always been a clown show, never took him serious from day one. But people get sucked into this nonsense real quick, sad to say.

You have to hone your critical thinking skills all the time with these fraudsters.

That's because he didn't?  Even TradCatKnight has some of the old blind squirrel or broken clock luck from time to time.

I have to give Eric his due: he was the first case I had ever heard about paying SEO clerks before the age of AI. He's always been fudging the numbers. But being the bold future leader that he is, he paywalled his website so he can only get one over on the overly gullible.

When I attempted listening to him years ago (once or twice only), it seemed like 80-90% of the content in each video was self promotion and talking about what he was going to talk about.  Just a bunch of filler.  And it seemed like he never listened to his guests.  It was un-listenable.

Someone should ask him about one of his outdated Planet X predictions. He's definitely earned the title false prophet many times over.
