I did grow up with seafood eaters, like shrimp, salmon & lobster, some of my siblings eat seafood. I have tried it before and even drowned it with garlic & butter and other seasonings & it's just completely nasty.

Why are you so fixated on seafood? Even if you were going (which you are not), you do know that you wouldn't be forced to eat seafood? Or anything at all, for that matter?

No, I wasn't traumatized as a child. Seafood is disgusting. But it sure is weird how you are a heartless person for picking on people who have had a traumatizing childhood of any kind, do you think that is a funny issue? weird. If I was a new convert or just looking into Catholicism, I would think Mr. G is weird. Anyways a reminder that it's a good thing to fast on a Friday since that is the day Christ was crucified.

Lol...  I don't think most Mexican restaurants serve tofu. 


Cheese enchiladas are an option, but that is usually what kids get when they go. 

We specifically thought of Mexican food because there are a LOT of options for Friday.

I remember having Cuban "Pigs feet stew" when visiting friends.  That is the closest I have ever gotten.  😅
