  • So, how is a traditional Catholic supposed to meet in this modern world? There aren't too many traditional singles where I live. I tried a Novus Ordo dating website and secular websites and without going too into detail, they were let downs.

One had great potential, but she joined thinking that she would never find a match and then when I asked if she wanted to get together for a Rosary and lunch she said she's not ready for a relationship and delted her profile.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Young ladies that are likewise single?

  • IIRC, both the SSPX and CMRI have their own dating sites.

    Not sure if they're active.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • The SSPX one seemed to have profiles that were not active and slim pickings thus if you want to communicate with someone (e.g. become a paid member).

The good news is that if God is calling you to marriage, you'll get married and there won't be anything you can do about it.

I always think it's funny to apply something as academic and specific as "Sedevacantist" to a singles-matching website.

"Oh, I knew he was the one by how he said 'Joseph Ratzinger isn't the pope.'"

    or Feeneyite Singles:

"Let's just say we're going to baptize ALL of our future children, within minutes. I don't want any of them burning in Hell because we waited for a priest to do a solemn Baptism."

  • When I met her, and saw that she had the complete writings of Fr Leonard Feeney on the bookshelf behind her lovely shoulder...

...that was when I knew she was the one!

  • The girls of Vatican II proudly announce no religious preference...

...because they have been told that all religions "point" to God and you can just forget about meeting them because there are hundreds of men from all over in front of you.

  • I noticed the quickest way to drive  women away from me in the secular, modern world is to bring God into the equation. Every time I invoked Christ, or anything Christian, I immediately noticed the women start to distance themselves from me and no longer have the same level of interest. Mentioning Christ in a conversation with a woman is a good way to see where her true heart lies. This even happened with novus ordite Newchurchers. It's funny how these women always talk about "wanting a good guy, but they don't exist". I'm not saying I'm a good guy, but I do know Christ is PERFECT, and the mere mention of His name drives these women away. I don't even give women the time of day anymore because they're not Catholics. Too bad there are not enough traditional Catholic women out there.

Even trad Catholic women are heavily influenced by popular anti-Christianity.

If you tell a woman you're looking for Catholic family life, you're pretty unlikely to get a positive response.

You won't get a positive response from Muslim women either, but here's a HUGE difference.  They won't hate you for it.  On the contrary, they'll marvel at your position and admire it, even if they don't share your values.

Many nominal trads are more anti-Catholic in practice than non-Catholics.

  • I will have to check the Thuc line trad site. LoL!

Seriously, any suggestions or should I pack my bags and find a seminary crazy enough to take me?  :incense:

  • Probably not the most ideal but I think my best bet would be to hopefully find a stable Novus Ordo girl and win her over to myself and tradition. I don't see any solutions otherwise. Oh well...

  • I am single and likely to stay that way. I have no desire to be married and I don't think I would be good at it.

I am not going to be a priest or religious either.

I wouldn't say that if I were you.

I would sign up for that sedevacantist singles site myself if I were a young single man.  At least you know the girl will be spiritually correct!

A trad girl is worth her weight in diamonds!

Check and see if there is an SSPX chapel near you.
