Even though not Catholic, I think right now due to his youth, he is a powerful figure for some young people out there and he's bold.

  • Tim Tebow has been one of my favorite players to watch since he was at Flordia. He's got so much passion. You can tell he is really convinced in his protestant  heresies/errors. It is much easier to talk to V2, Benedict XVI, sacraments, etc. to passionate protestant heretics like Tebow than it is to lapsed catholics or even some neo-caths. We must do what we can to articulate the error of "faith alone" to these poor souls.

We must also defend Our Blessed mother at all costs, as she is often a target of these heretics.

  • Amen.  May God bless Tim Tebow and let him be a light for Christ. I pray for his conversion too.

He was awesome at UF! I saw him on the field many times.

  • Tim Tebow actually acts more like a Catholic than alot of Novus Ordo "Catholics" do. We should pray that Tebow converts to Traditional Catholicism one day, but may God Bless him for standing up for Christ. It's not often I see a Protestant who seems to love Christ the way Tebow does.

Jake Plummer sounds like an idiot.

  • I agree with SS, Tebow is more Catholic than you're average Novus Ordo "Catholic"; he at least has a natural faith, which most NO attendees do not even have. That said, the quarterback of the San Diego Chargers, (the team that Tebow and the Broncos are playing today) Philip Rivers is a devout Catholic. He has promoted chastity and has six children.
    Pray for me, always.

  • Yeah, Rivers is Catholic. Also, the Green Bay Packers (more-so their organization than their players, I think) are Catholic, including their coach Mike McCarthy.
