    • I have been mistaken as a Jєωess by 3 different Jєωιѕн men 3 different times this past month.
    I guess dressing like a young lady makes you a Jєωess these days. xD 
    I think it is funny and sad at the same time. 
    Funny that I am being mistaken as another religion for dressing modest, but sad because this is how Catholic young ladies are supposed to dress.

    Way to "Jєω" ma'am, but it is rather sad that you weren't "mistaken" for a Catholic.

    Then again, it wouldn't surprise me at all to find that the only "mistake" was yours.

    I don't know of a simpler, more direct way to say it.

    You could, for example, do a side-by-side comparison, and then just think like a woman.

    • Are you commenting on the Jєωιѕн men? Some of them were in their 20s, I doubt many of them would be married.
    I just thought it was a funny how it happened to me 3 times that is all.

    Are they mistaking you as a Jєω due to your phenotype or the way you're dressed?

    • I've been mistaken for a Jєωess for decades.  I live in a large city with a large Orthodox and Hasidic population.  Jєωιѕн and Muslim women are known for modest dress.  Since I am definitely not in Muslim garb, the alternative is assumed.  The fact that I am of mixed Polish, German, and Russian ancestry clinches the matter in people's minds. I'm also half Irish, but do not resemble my father's side of the family.  I use it as an opportunity to alert people to the existence of traditional Catholics.

    Perhaps he meant the Jєωιѕн men were just using the question as an opening for a  pick-up line and your "mistake" was to assume it was just a casual question.
