  • At first glance, it looks like a colossal tree rising from the Earth, but it’s actually a river delta, where nature paints with water instead of ink.
This intricate design is called a dendritic pattern, derived from the Greek word dendron, meaning “tree.” It’s a formation that appears throughout nature, from tree branches to veins in our bodies, echoing the same branching geometry of life.
Over time, these rivers carve their paths across the land, splitting, merging, and spreading outward, always following the path of least resistance. The result is a network of waterways that seems almost deliberately artistic.
Dendritic river systems appear across the globe, from Iceland’s glacial rivers to the sprawling Mississippi Delta, but seen from above, they transform into breathtaking, living art.
    A quiet reminder from nature:
    It doesn’t just grow trees…
    It thinks like one.

  • As the Italians say:   "Fantastico!"
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi
