Our children loved it! It was entirely done by a group of homeschooled children. It wasn't "hollywood quality', but it was very enjoyable and our whole family was impressed at how well it was done. We have the DVD and love the bloopers, too.
I "liked" your post, bvmknight, for two reasons:
1. You actually "got" it and responded appropriately.
2. To offset the "dislike" some Scrooge-y malcontent misanthrope saw fit to strike you with. Honestly, a bunch of really good young folks go to a lot of trouble to make a worthy effort, consistent with their ages and abilities, and DO manage to capture in their own fashion a little sense of gallantry and real Catholic piety and some third-rate Gene Siskel wannabe tapping away with two fingers on a Radio Shack PC in his grandmother's attic just HAS to take a swipe at it.
