What about the saints? There should be at least one example for any situation a woman finds herself in, whether married, virginal or repentant.
Then again, it seems most of the married female saints you read about had husbands who tested their patience in terms of cheating or not being converted ( I'm thinking of St. Rita and St. Monica ). You don't hear about many saints who just had to deal with boring domesticity, the daily struggles. But I think all Catholics are expected to know how to persevere and be patient through that.
As for how to raise kids during the Apostasy, no one can tell you, because no one has been through the Apostasy, so you will have to rely directly on God and aim at sanctity yourself here. Courage! I have been praying for you.
