Here's the problem with Fuentes...he's just preaching despair. He's getting rage-bait-clicks and despair-clicks. He's preaching to the choir of men who have already made up their minds that life is against them. He's preaching to give up.
This is not to say that life is easy. Even if you find a Trad Catholic wife, it's still going to be difficult. The world, society, (even family members) are against men (and good women).
But this isn't the only generation that has faced difficulties. God knew from all eternity who you would be born to, into what family, the exact day, month and year. He knew what society would be like, what govts would be like, what your family would be like. God knows all. So if you decide to forgo despair and accept fortitude and perseverance, then life will work out (through God's grace).
This is not to say that you should get married (or shouldn't...there are still problems out there). Or that most women can be changed by grace/prayers (they cannot). Or that society can be ignored, if you live a good, catholic life (it cannot be ignored). Or that govts won't try to control you, if you are a good catholic (they will; God's grace does not stop free will of evil people).
But it does mean that you stop living life like Fuentes implies (and does not directly say)...which is to despair. NO!
Life is not over, if you don't have a great job.
Life is not over, if the govt hates you.
Life is not over, if you're not married.
Life is not over, if society doesn't care.
God cares. God is on your side. God created you for a reason, and NO ONE can stop His reasons. No power on earth can stop God, when He decides to act. No amount of sin can stop the power of God's grace. No amount of evil can stop the holiness of God's Church, which enlightens the world. No amount of planning by evil men can hold a candle to God's Almighty Providence, who knew you from all eternity.
So stop listening to immature, inexperienced, idiots like Fuentes. He's only talking to gain a crowd. To make a $ buck. To gain an audience.
He has no insight into the future; only God does.
He has no experience of your life, but God does.
He has no knowledge of your talents, your desires, your goodness, but God does.
For thus saith the Lord: When the seventy years shall begin to be accomplished in Babylon, I will visit you: and I will perform my good word in your favour, to bring you again to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of affliction, to give you an end and patience.
12 And you shall call upon me, and you shall go: and you shall pray to me, and I will hear you.
13 You shall seek me, and shall find me: when you shall seek me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29: 10-13)
