The Problem with Fuentes
« on: December 02, 2025, 05:14:06 PM »
Here's the problem with Fuentes...he's just preaching despair.  He's getting rage-bait-clicks and despair-clicks.  He's preaching to the choir of men who have already made up their minds that life is against them.  He's preaching to give up.

This is not to say that life is easy.  Even if you find a Trad Catholic wife, it's still going to be difficult.  The world, society, (even family members) are against men (and good women).

But this isn't the only generation that has faced difficulties.  God knew from all eternity who you would be born to, into what family, the exact day, month and year.  He knew what society would be like, what govts would be like, what your family would be like.  God knows all.  So if you decide to forgo despair and accept fortitude and perseverance, then life will work out (through God's grace).

This is not to say that you should get married (or shouldn't...there are still problems out there).  Or that most women can be changed by grace/prayers (they cannot).  Or that society can be ignored, if you live a good, catholic life (it cannot be ignored).  Or that govts won't try to control you, if you are a good catholic (they will; God's grace does not stop free will of evil people).

But it does mean that you stop living life like Fuentes implies (and does not directly say)...which is to despair.  NO!

Life is not over, if you don't have a great job.
Life is not over, if the govt hates you.
Life is not over, if you're not married.
Life is not over, if society doesn't care.

God cares.  God is on your side.  God created you for a reason, and NO ONE can stop His reasons.  No power on earth can stop God, when He decides to act.  No amount of sin can stop the power of God's grace.  No amount of evil can stop the holiness of God's Church, which enlightens the world.  No amount of planning by evil men can hold a candle to God's Almighty Providence, who knew you from all eternity.

So stop listening to immature, inexperienced, idiots like Fuentes.  He's only talking to gain a crowd.  To make a $ buck.  To gain an audience.

He has no insight into the future; only God does.
He has no experience of your life, but God does.
He has no knowledge of your talents, your desires, your goodness, but God does.

For thus saith the Lord: When the seventy years shall begin to be accomplished in Babylon, I will visit you: and I will perform my good word in your favour, to bring you again to this place.  11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of affliction, to give you an end and patience.

12 And you shall call upon me, and you shall go: and you shall pray to me, and I will hear you.
13 You shall seek me, and shall find me: when you shall seek me with all your heart.
(Jeremiah 29: 10-13)

Wow!  Where is all this vitriol of yours coming from?  Why the diatribe?

You have put forth a gross misrepresentation of Fuentes, an individual who certainly does not preach despair.  He is humble and honest enough to openly recognize his personal shortcomings. but this litany of faults you attribute to him is simply not true.  You hit your high, or rather low, point when you say, "So stop listening to immature, inexperienced, idiots like Fuentes."  If he was that simple a name calling caricature that you make him out to be he certainly would not be where he is today.  That said, I'm sure you will nevertheless find individuals on CathInfo who will be only too happy to agree with your extremely one-sided negative views you have expressed in this rant and more.

Honestly he gives me hope that the younger generation is seeing through the madness. I’ve been a “ truther” since 9/11 when I was 15 and it was lonely out there. No one wanted to talk about it a we were outcast. If you spoke out about the Iraq war you were a communist and anti American. You didn’t support the troops. If you thought Obama was a communist subversive when he ran for his first term you were a kook. When you questioned D.j.t and were wondering why everyone would take a shot because a billionaire democrat from New York City told it was super safe and effective you were nuts. When you talked about skull and bones and all the occult societies running government you were crazy. Now it’s all mainstream! Now it’s what all the kids are into. He raised the Jєωιѕн question to a whole new generation. If you liked David Irving in the early
2000s and just maintained Germany got screwed in the world wars your were a total outcast now he’s considered a hero. I see the awareness aspect as a really good thing. Of course they are going to the extreme calling Adolph himself a hero now but as they are open to learning more we can work with that and teach them the Catholic perspectives. And teach them they may have found themselves in dachau for speaking out as a Christian against him, of course but it’s a lot less lonely now discussing these topics especially with the younger generation because honestly the “boomers” as he calls them in my experience didn’t want to hear it. He’s not the only one speaking out against the war on men and I don’t agree with the racial aspects and categories he forms but I definitely understand the frustrations. I put Catholics as my first category Americans 2nd and I don’t divide us in any way from there. And as an enemy category I see it as team satan and the oligarchy. I’m sure I can break it down a little more but I don’t buy into the black white yellow stuff at all.

My post included specific reasons why I said what I said.  Your post (as usual) was general and generic, offering ZERO substance.

You're right, but only partially.  The younger men are waking up, but Fuentes is the gatekeeper who is trying to corral them to follow him to …where?  He preaches anger and truth but does he point to God as the answer?  No.  He agrees with “the people”, but does he point to prayer as a solution?  No.  He talks about going to church, but does he urge young men to use their Faith as a means to overcome problems?  No.

He's the younger generation’s Alex Jones.  Preaching to the people, with no purpose but to help people vent frustrations, and let the political system continue on.  He offers ZERO real-life solutions, other than whining about the problem.  Without whining, he wouldn’t have a job, so this proves he’s a politician wanna be.
