The Meaning of having "No Ego"
« on: March 31, 2026, 03:39:41 AM »
Folks have misconstrued the idea of having no ego, with having little ego. Meaning either self hatred or unfounded grandiosity. I have no ego, meaning I don't judge myself based on past achievements, or worldly things, I judge myself based on what I have done since waking up. If my body starts to slip, it is no longer healthy, and no longer suitable. I am not cherishable no matter what. I can be, if I analyze my options and make the right choice. Modern man and woman are devoid of this concept. Their high ego, or low ego, submits to this form of grandiosity. "No matter what I am perfect." I am through with this idea, after fooling with it a little more recently. Feeling as if you are good enough no matter what is an illusion. My Lord died on the cross for us, I am saved by grace alone. However a grand misuse of this grace ends up wasted. I am not going to be one to waste it, I feel as if I'm helped by having no concept of who I am throughout the days. My life experience is based on who I am today, and today only, for 99% of things. No ego keeps me alive. Truly, I can't get along with any other way.
