Lucifer was the first being to commit ѕυιcιdє. When he was an angel of light, he knew he had life eternal during his Beautific Vision of God. Even the lowest minds of human creatures have an instinct for self-preservation, and it was that much more intelligence possessed by the angel Lucifer when he was in Heaven, but he wanted to be equal to God and not serve Him. He also knew of God's plan to make man in His image. Lucifer knew his attempt to be equal to God and no longer serve Him would send him to eternal death, but his pride still insisted on this impossible Heavenly paradign shift. It was an act similar to "ѕυιcιdє by cop". Due to Lucifer's revolt, God commanded St. Michael the Archangel to expel him from Heaven to eternal pits of death where he became Satan. Satan swore to bring death upon humanity, whom he hated. Satan seeks not only physical death of humanity, but death (damnation) of as many souls as possible. In the third chapter of Genesis, it's revealed to the faithful that Satan not only hates Our Lord and His Immaculate Mother, but he hates humanity, too, and he conspires to kill all of us and our souls.

First, "schizophrenia" as defined & diagnosed by pseudoscientists - psychiatrists & psychologists - doesn't exist. These cases are either deliberately misdiagnosed or done so out of ignorance. Most severe symptoms, which are not neurological in origin, are prevented & alleviated by the Holy Ghost and having a true spiritual relation with Jesus Christ, and receiving the Sacraments.

Most "schizo" symptoms can, ultimately, be traced back to the hurt pride of a person. An ass-kicking might sound counter-intuitive to alleviating "schizo" symptoms because a person's pride will, momentarily, be affected, but an ass-kicking clears away all delusions, and it allows the natural order of things to be seen and honestly accepted. The honest & brave person will then rebuild what is proper and avoid harboring any misguided emotions & thoughts that led to the symptoms. The dishonest & cowardly person will likely continue to have symptoms, which might even intensify because their pride won't let them move on from whatever failure or trauma they experienced. Their false ego is anchored into their pride, which only generates hostile symptoms to a person's mind, emotion, spirit & body.

Only a small minority of cases are truly neurological that result from head trauma or things like auto-immune encephalitis, but it's still not "schizo". It can, however, give off strong symptoms that are exactly attributed to "schizophrenia".  Most "schizo" cases are of a mental and / or spiritual origin. They are certainly not "schizophrenia".

Basically, most people with "schizo" are butt-hurt over something they can't control and / or can't have... hence, their variable symptoms.

Guess who was the first real schizophrenic ever?

The answer is Lucifer.

He thought he was, or wanted to be, equal to God, hence the host of problems within him that followed - his rebellion and everything. Now he roams the world seeking to devour as many souls as possible, and in the process these people experience variable symptoms of "schizo".

Pride.. it all stems from pride... people are butt-hurt over something they can't control or have...

Fr Ripperberger said that during exorcisms, he's asked demons about their choice which sent them to hell and told them it was a bad decision.  He then asked them if they would do it again, if they could go back in time.  The demon told them “yes”.
